Central INSET Programme
Trafford's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) department provides a range of course and training for school-based staff. Music features in this annual programme. Courses for Newly Qualified Teachers, non-specialist classroom teachers, Early Years Practitioners, Music Co-ordinators, secondary teachers and choir leaders are offered regularly. School-based INSET
In-Service training can be tailored to a schools individual needs, and delivered to the whole staff, Key Stage, or Year Group. Classroom support can then follow up work with staff, so that teachers and teaching assistants develop their own skills, enabling them to teach music with confidence. This support can focus on the whole music curriculum, singing or any aspect where schools identify a need for training.
