Rehearsals

They rehearse on Friday evenings during term time from 4.30 - 5.30pm at Acre Hall Primary School as part of Urmston Music Centre.

There are currently around 50 children involved in the choir and concerts take
place at the end of each term.

Who Runs the choir?

Trafford Junior Youth Choir is run by Suzanne Waller. Anyone interested in joining the choir, any queries or questions can send an email to Music Service General Enquiries.

Sale Festival

Date: Friday 15th June, Concert at 7:30pm.
Venue: Robert Bolt Theatre, Sale Waterside.

There will be a rehearsal prior to the concert at the theatre (time to be confirmed) It is a usual TJYC rehearsal evening but this would be replaced by the concert.

North West Singing Partnership Singing Day / Concert

Date: Saturday 23rd June 2012

We have been invited to represent Trafford at an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the North West Singing Partnership.

This full day event will be an opportunity to sing and perform along with choirs from across the north west. Children will spend the day singing in workshops with experienced vocal leaders learning new songs and rehearsing existing pieces.

One of the highlights will be all choirs joining as one to sing a world premiere performance of a specially commissioned choral work.

Trafford Music Service will be providing transport to and from the event being held at the Victoria Hall, Bolton.

The event itself starts at 10.30am at the venue and finishes with a concert starting at 4pm. It is scheduled to finish at the venue at 5.15pm. Drop-off and collection times in Trafford to be confirmed.

Music Centre Concert:

Date: Saturday 7th July, Robert Bolt Theatre, Sale Waterside

Rehearsal 12.30pm,  Concert 1.30pm

Gala Festival:

Date: Saturday 14th July, Acre Hall Primary. Times to be confirmed.
